With the domestic glass technology advancing and capacity of glass melting increasing, the large quantity of exhaust gas is possible to be used for generation. Especially the fuels for the glass kiln have changed to clean energy like natural gas and coal gas. The use ratio of flue gas waste heat recovery reaches to approximately 80% and the fuel use ratio for the glass company can improve 23%-24%.
By EMC we invested and built the glasses Kiln Waste Heat Generation Project with the rated power of 6 MW and two sets of boilers for Blue Sky Glass Co.,Ltd. which produces 500 ton glass per day. The project generates 144 thousands KWhper day, save 17 thousands ton standard coal and reduces the carbon dioxide emission for 41 thousands ton.
